James Dale Sperry

J am es Dale Sperry, 66,  of Gastonia, passed away August 24, 2021, at his home.

He was born August 18, 1955, in Kane County, Illinois, son of the late Glen Dale Sperry and Barbara Stroeher Sperry.

James was a decorated Sergeant in the US Marines.

All services will be private.

James is survived by  his children, Amanda Burton (Tarl),  and Aaron James Sperry; sister, Diane Cotugno; grandchildren, Tarl II, Tristan and Talena Burton; aunt, Pat Nagel; former spouse, Joy Sperry; numerous cousins and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Gaston Hospice PO Box 3984 Gastonia, NC 28054.

Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, Gastonia.
