James Reid

James "Bryan" Reid, 56, of Dallas, passed away December 1, 2015 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. He was born October 2, 1959 in Spartanburg County, the son of the late Curtis and Nell Reid. Bryan was a loving father and brother who was an avid sports enthusiast and coach. He was employed with Hanes Brands in Kings Mountain. Left to cherish his memories are his son Brett Reid of Dallas and Jon Erik Hubbard of Shelby; brother Jerry Reid and wife Linnie of Bessemer City; sister Sharon Fox and husband Chuck of Raleigh; niece and nephew Seth and Carla and special little friend Addison Hubbard. A memorial service will be held 4 pm Monday at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
