James Clarenence Patterson

James Clarence Patterson, 74, of Gastonia, passed away Monday, August 22, 2016.

He was born February 27, 1942 in Gaston County, and was the son of the late Clarence Patterson and Willie Lunsford Patterson.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Brenda H. Patterson; stepson, Gerard "Chickie" Rancourt.

Left to cherish his memories are his son, Jimmy Patterson; step daughter, Sherrie Pittman; sister, Jane Lewis and grandchild, Mariah Rancourt.

A graveside service, officiated by Pastor Marshall Owens, will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, at Armstrong Cemetery, Oceloa Street, Gastonia.
