Jamie O'Donahue, 64, passed away peacefully at his home. He was born on April 10, 1961, to Jim and Faye O'Donahue.
A talented machinist by trade, Jamie also pursued work in HVAC repair, excelling in both fields with a strong work ethic and natural skill.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Scott O'Donahue.
Jamie is survived by his three daughters: Jessica Long and husband Josh of Conway, SC; Stacey Bailey and partner James McDonaugh of Myrtle Beach, SC; and Kristen Blake of Tupelo, Mississippi. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren; Jase Bailey, Braelyn Long, Banks Long, and Case Long-as well as his brother, Rusty O'Donahue; his partner, Belinda "Nechie" Woods; special friends, Susan and Scott Kessler; and a wide circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Jamie's life was one of complexity and perseverance-often caught between what was right and what was easy. In the moments when those paths aligned, he shined, and those who knew and loved him will hold those memories close.
Quiet by nature, Jamie preferred listening over speaking, yet when he did share, it was with quick wit and a deep well of knowledge on the things he loved. An avid fisherman, he delighted in sharing a favorite fishing spot-if you were lucky enough to be invited. He was also fascinated by the skies, always ready to talk about the mysteries of the universe and firmly believed we're not alone.
A private service will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers or gifts, they ask that you consider making a donation to a charity of your choice in Jamie's memory.
