James "Jamie" Norton

James "Jamie' Norton, 49, of Dallas, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 25, 2021, at his residence.

A native of Gaston County, born on December 17, 1972, Jamie was the son of James Norton and the late Beverly Aland Norton.

In addition to his mother, Jamie is preceded in death by his grandparents, Perry and Darcel Norton and Norman and Bessie Albright.

Left to cherish Jamie's memories are his father and stepmother, James, and Gena Norton; daughter, Reba Norton; grandson, Legand Norton; brothers, Johnny Bumgardner, Jason Norton, and Josh Norton; and sisters, Jada Guy, Melissa James (Ernest), and Stephanie Lane (Anthony).

A memorial service, officiated by Pastor Gerald Mc-Peters and Rev. Tim Smalls, will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 1, 2022, at Spiritual Guidance Holiness Church – 609 E Charlotte Avenue, Mt. Holly, NC 28120.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Jamie Norton Memorial Fund c/o Reba Norton – 1624 Philadelphia Church Rd, Dallas, NC 28034.
