James Norman Jr.

James "Pop" Norman, 50, of Gastonia, passed away October 24, 2014, at Carolina Specialty Hospital, Pineville. He was born September 9, 1964, in San Antonio, TX, son of James Robert Norman and the late Brenda Smith Norman. Mr. Norman is survived by his wife, Selina Norman; brothers, Dennis Norman, Wilson Norman; father James Robert Norman; children, Cleatis "Shane" Norman and wife Kayln, Brandon Norman and wife Melissa, C. J. Horton; and 11 grandchildren. Along with his mother, he is joined in heaven with his son, Marcus Norman. A graveside service will be held 2 pm on Wednesday at Armstrong Cemetery, Gastonia, officiating Chaplain Dennis Norman. Everyone is to meet at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 South York Rd. Gastonia, at 1:30 pm Wednesday to go in procession to the cemetery.
