James Messer

James "JB" Messer, 68, of Gastonia, passed away August 23, 2014, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia. He was born August 30, 1945, in Waynesville, NC, son of the late Jarvis D. and Katie Mathis Messer. A funeral service will be held 2pm on Tuesday at Living Hope Baptist Church, 609 Osceola St, Gastonia, officiating Rev. Danny Gardner. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm on Monday at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 South York Rd, Gastonia. Interment will be held at Gaston Memorial Park. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
