James Henry "Jim" Bolick Jr.

Gastonia, NC –

James Henry "Jim" Bolick Jr., 71, passed away January 18, 2017 at home.

He was born December 15, 1945 in Morristown, Tennesee, the son of the late James Henry Bolick Sr., and Hazel Drinnon.  He retired from the Napa Corporation after 46 years as a Regional Sales Manager.

Jim is survived by his wife of 25 years Sherry Ellis Bolick; step-daughter Stephanie Ellis Hayes; son Marcus L. Bolick and wife Donna; grandchildren Hannah, Tiffany, Johnathon, Kaitlyn and Kristin; sisters Bobbie Blanton and husband Danny, Glenda Patton and husband Tom; half-sisters Mary Bolick Peeler and Ellen Bolick Alexander; 7 nephews and 3 nieces.

A memorial service officiated by Pastors Chris Diciaccio and Andy Nicholson, will be held 11 am Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.

The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.

Burial will be private.
