James Curtis Hampton

James Curtis Hampton, 60, of Cramerton, passed away Monday, September 5, 2016, at his home.

He was born March 28, 1956, in Gaston County, son of James LeRoy Hampton and the late Barbara Barrett Hampton.

Along with his father, left to cherish his memories are his wife of 40 years, Janice Hampton; son, Ashley Hampton and wife, Ann; daughter, Leslie Brooke Brackett and husband, Richard; brother, Robin Hampton and wife, Sandy; and grandchildren, Logan Hampton, Layton Brackett, Emma Brackett, Ella Brackett, Kadence Hampton, and Kyle Hampton.

A funeral Service will be held 11am on Thursday, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 South York Rd. Gastonia, officiating Pastor Mark Hovis.

The family will receive friends 6 – 8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.

Interment will be held at Westview Gardens in Bessemer City.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
