James Douglas Grigartis

James Douglas Grigartis, 63, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.

He was born June 7, 1960, in Michigan, son of the late Harvey and Ethel Allman.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Leonard Grigartis.

James is survived by his wife, Sherri Grigartis; sons, Doug Grigartis and wife Misty, Waide Grigartis and wife Janelle, and Josh Grigartis and wife Tatiana; daughter, Kristin Yanke and husband David; sisters, Gloria and LeBelle; 14 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.

A memorial service officiated by Pastor Gene Alley, will be held 5pm, Saturday, September 16, 2023. At Taylor Memorial Baptist Church of Gastonia - 2616 Davis Park Rd, Gastonia, NC 28052.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
