James Grant Hayes

Gastonia, NC - James Grant Hayes, 48, of Gastonia, passed away March 5, 2014 at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia. He was born January 27, 1966 and was a native of Gaston County. He was the son of James and Elise Hayes. A funeral service to celebrate the life of James will be held on Saturday at 2 pm at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 805 S. York Street, Gastonia, officiated by Rev. Braxton East. Interment will follow at Westview Gardens. Visitation will be held 7PM - 9 PM on Friday at Greene Funeral Service - South Chapel - 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia. In addition to his parents, James is survived by: sister, Donna Quick and husband, Scott of Lowell, NC: brothers, Thomas Hayes and wife, Cindy, Aron Hayes and wife, Sissy, Matt Hayes and wife, Margaret all of Gastonia, NC: nieces, Katilyn and Emma Quick and Hope Hayes; nephews, Daniel, Glen, Justin, Kaleb and Nathan Hayes, and Andrew Quick; great nephew, Noah Hayes, great- niece, Ashlynn Gibson. He was preceded in death by his nephews, Brandon and Ryan Hayes. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
