James J.W. Gilliland

Dallas, NC J.W. Gilliland, 46, passed away September 16, 2013, at Caromont Regional Med. Ctr., Gastonia. He was born September 16, 1967 in Gastonia, son of the late Edgar Eugene Gilliland Sr. and Nancy Rose Gilliland. Mr. Gilliland was a retired Shop Teacher at Warlick School, Ranlo, NC. A memorial service will be held 2:30 pm on Saturday at Philadelphia Lutheran Church, Dallas, NC,officiated by Pastor Gary Weant and Rev. Carroll Flack. The family will receive friends 1-2:15 on Saturday prior to the service at the church. Interment is private. Mr. Gilliland is survived by: his wife, Gina L. Gilliland of the home; sons, William Bradford Gilliland and James Walker Gilliland both of the home; brothers, James "Eddie" Brown and his wife, Crystal, Edgar Eugene Gilliland Jr. and wife, JoAnn all of Gastonia; sisters, Lorinda Sanders and husband, Wayne, Linda Bridges and husband, Clyde all of Gastonia, Charlene Grindle of Dallas; Several Cousins, numerous nieces and nephews.
