James "Eddie" Dunn

James "Eddie" Dunn, 69, of Ranlo, NC, passed away Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Robin Johnson House in Dallas, NC.

A native of Gaston County, he was born on August 12, 1954, to the late Johnny and Maggie Dunn.

Eddie was a member of Faith and Praise Assembly in Ranlo. He loved his family. He enjoyed fishing and watching basketball with his grandsons.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Bo Dunn.

Eddie is survived by his wife of 40 years, Marie Mason Dunn; daughters, Melissa Cooke Goldston (Steve), Allison Stacy (Michael), Mary Gross (Ryan); sisters, Patricia Pruitt (Dennis), Susan Fisher (Richie); eleven grandchildren.

A funeral service officiated by Pastor Marie Dunn and Evangelist Bobby Letner, will be held Tuesday, June 4, 2024, 7:00 PM, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd. Gastonia, NC 28052. The family will receive friends from 5:30 – 6:30 at the funeral home prior to the service.
