James Garfield Dixon Jr.

Gastonia, NC James Garfield Dixon, Jr., 81, went to be with the Lord on April 11, 2013, peacefully at The Robin Johnson House, Dallas. He was born June 22, 1931 in Gaston County, son of the late James Garfield Dixon Sr. and Nellie Dixon. Services are private, officiated by Pastor Charles Russell. He is survived by: his daughter and son in-law, Patti and James Biggerstaff; granddaughter, Jami Alisa Coleman. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by: his wife, Jean Dixon; son, Wayne Dixon; grandson, Matthew Jason Coleman. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gaston Hospice, The Robin Johnson House, P. O. Box 3984, Gastonia, NC 28054.
