James R. Davis

James R. Davis, 80, of Gastonia, NC, passed away, Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at his residence.

He was born April 29, 1941 in Gaston Co, NC, son of the late James B. Davis and Ollie Mae Adams.

He enjoyed traveling, Latin American history, and baseball.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Elmore; brother, Roger Davis; and half-brother, Randy Davis.

James is survived by his wife, Maria Davis; sons, Ron Davis; sister, Gail Wyatt; and brother, Mark Davis.

A funeral service officiated by Rev. Eric Wyatt will be held 11am on Friday, May 21, 2021 at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial will be held at Armstrong Cemetery, Gastonia.
