James "Buddy" Davis

James "Buddy" Davis, 79, of Gastonia, North Carolina passed away Thursday, October 27, 2022, at Carolina Caring in Newton, NC.

He was born June 3, 1943, in Tennessee to the late Horace Butler and Mary Hardin Bell.

James loved fishing, gardening, and traveling.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Larry Bell and his sisters, Rachel Smith and Cindy Mathis.

James is survived by his sons; Perry Mason Bendall (Sherry), James Steven Bendall (Charlotte), Michael Ethan Davis, Donnie Vickers (Donna), daughters; Shelley Poole, Tracy Hughes (Donald), Jamie Gibson, Melony Hernandez (David), sister; Barbara Brackett, twenty grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
