James "Bubba" Brown

James "Bubba" Brown, of Gastonia, passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at the young age of 22.

Born on June 8, 1999, in Gaston County, James was the son of Billy Darrell Brown and Juliette "Julie" Gregg Brown.

Bubba will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.

James is preceded in death by his brother, Andrew Gregg Brown and maternal grandfather, James Gregg.

Left to cherish Bubba's memories are his parents, Darrell, and Julie Brown; fiancé, Harley Harvey; paternal grandparents, Billy, and Brenda Brown; maternal grandmother, Linda Gregg; sister, Belinda Haney; niece, Aliza Haney; and nephew, Drew Haney.

A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Gene Bates, will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 23, 2021, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service - 1503 S York Rd, Gastonia, NC 28052.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00pm on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at the funeral home.
