James "Jimmy" Beasley Jr.

Cramerton, NC James "Jimmy" Beasley, Jr., 51, passed away April 11, 2013, at his home. He was born July 23, 1961 in Gaston County, son of the late James Edwin Beasley Sr. and Nina Flowers Beasley. Mr. Beasley loved his wife, children and grandchildren very dearly. He was a member of Lowell Church of God. Jimmy was a retired Volunteer Firefighter with the McAdenville Fire Dept. A funeral service will be held 2 pm on Monday at Lowell Church of God, officiated by Rev. Joe Heffner. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm on Sunday at the church. Interment will be at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City. Mr. Beasley is survived by: his loving wife of 22 years, Julie Ledford Beasley; daughter and son in-law, Jamie and William McPeters; brothers and sister in-law, Patrick Beasley, Jeffrey and Donna Beasley; grandchildren, Jonathan McPeters, Taylor and Isaiah Weikle, Billy McPeters, Elizabeth McPeters; step-mother, Janie Beasley Young; step-sister; Melissa Mathis; step-brother, Ron Monk; grandpuppy, Darla. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by: a son, Melvin Lee Beaver. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
