Jacob Haney, 29, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2023, in Belmont, NC.
He was born October 14, 1993, in Buncombe Co, NC, son of Tina Watson Haney and the late Michael S. Haney.
Jacob was a great son, grandson, father, and brother. He loved his children; his family was everything to him.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son, Malakai Lane Haney; grandfather, Danny Garland, Sr.,; and several aunts and uncles.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by the mother of his children, Kayleigh Eason; sons, Maddox James Haney, and Madden Christopher Haney; brothers, Michael Wayne Haney, and Charles Colton Haney; grandmother, Sandy Garland; aunts, Cathy Haney, and Donna Soles; uncle, Danny Garland, Jr. and wife Angie; and special cousin, Jessica Bailey.
