Jackson Letterman
April 10, 1946 — July 22, 2021
Jackson Letterman, 75, of Gastonia, passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2021, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.
He was born on April 10, 1946, in Yancy County, NC, to the late Ransom and Willie Mae Buchanam Letterman.
Jackson was an ordained minister. He loved spending with his grandchildren and his beloved dog Cassie.
In addition to his parents, Jackson is preceded in death by a brother, Woodrow Letterman; and son, James Childers.
Left to cherish Jackson's memories are his wife, Betty Letterman; sons, Brandon Letterman, Jamie Letterman, Charles Childers, and Timothy Brazell; daughter, Bertha Brown; brother, Charles Letterman; sister, Leonnie Briggs; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life hosted by the family will be held on August 7, 2021, from 12:30 pm - 8:30 pm at Shelter #4 of Rankin Lake Parker, Gastonia.
The South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Inc is assisting the family.
