J ackson Cole Hall, 12, of Bessemer City, passed away peacefully March 11, 2024, at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born July 17, 2011, in Gaston County.
He was a member of Venture Church in Dallas. He attended Mountain Island Charter Middle School in Mount Holly.
He played baseball with Powerhouse, The Venom Stars, and Funky Monkey baseball and played both baseball and basketball with Dallas Recreation.
He had served as an honorary police officer with the Gastonia City Police.
Jackson loved cars that were fast and flashy and he enjoyed going to drag races with his dad.
He loved to play video games and loved spending time with his dogs Kane and Chassie. He loved all his friends that he had the pleasure of knowing from church, school, sports and other events.
He enjoyed taking trips to the beach and the mountains with his family.
A celebration of Jackson's life will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, March 16, 2024, at the CaroMont Health Park, 800 West Franklin Boulevard Gastonia, NC, officiated by Rev. Austin Rammell. Jackson will lie in state from 11-1 prior to the service at the stadium.
In honor of Jackson, please feel free to wear any type of sports jersey, sneakers and hats.
(If the weather is inclement, the service will be held at First Assembly of God 777 South Myrtle School Road Gastonia.)
Jackson is survived by his loving parents, Jason Matthew Hall and Jackie Stone Hall; maternal grandparents, Jay and Sally Stone; paternal grandparents, Steve and Melodie Hall; aunt, Tonya and husband Ryan Kranzler, cousins, Ciara and Kaela Kranzler; uncle, Jay and wife Carrie Stone; cousin, Hannah Stone; uncle, Allan Hall and wife Debbie; cousins, Chloe and Caleb Hall; aunt, Heather Dellinger and husband David; cousins, Brianna Beaty, Madison and Cooper Wirz; aunt, Dawn Walker and husband David; and many friends throughout the community.
The family would like to give special thanks to Strong Like A.K., Janes Fund, Hometown Heroes, Kids Path Hospice, Lake Wylie Childrens Charity, his social workers and medical staff for their compassionate care, support and friendship to Jackson and his family.
