Jackie A. Lyles

Jackie A. Lyles, 56, of Gastonia passed away December 18, 2014 at Levine & Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville. He was born August 27, 1958 native of Gaston County, son of Olline Mae Goble. Jackie was raised in the South Gastonia Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church. He was a loving son, father and grandfather. The family would like to express gratitude for the compassionate care by the Levine & Dickson Hospice House. Jackie is survived by his mother and step-father, Donnie Goble; loving wife of 36 years, Vickie Lyles of the home; son, Christopher Lee Lyles of Gastonia; daughters, Pamela Ledford and husband Joe of Gastonia and Cindy Lyles of Gastonia; grandchildren, Blake, Mackenzie and Nicholas Creasman, Alexis Grimes and Jessica Ledford; sisters, Barbara Hollifield of Gastonia, Tammy Crawford and husband Jason of Kings Mountain and Lynn Dellinger and husband Dan of Cramerton. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Walter E. Lyles. A home going service will be held 2:30 pm Sunday at Greene Funeral Service - West Chapel - 216 Archie Whitesides Rd., Gastonia officiated by Pastor Billy Ginn. Visitation will be held 1:30 - 2:15 pm prior to the service on Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Westview Gardens. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
