Jackie Diane Calhoun

Jackie Diane Calhoun, a beloved resident of Bessemer City, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on July 26, 1954, in Gaston County, North Carolina, Jackie embraced life with a warmth and generosity that touched everyone around her.

Jackie's dedication to her family and friends was immeasurable. She cherished the moments spent with loved ones, especially during trips to the mountains and the beach, where laughter and joy flourished. She found beauty in the simple things, drawing comfort and purpose from her work as a spinner in the textile industry, particularly during her many years at Osceola Mills.

An active member of Holland Memorial Baptist Church in Bessemer City, Jackie embodied a spirit of community and faith that inspired those around her. Her talents extended beyond her profession; she had a passion for sewing and crafting floral arrangements that brought color and life to any gathering. Jackie, a gentle soul now at peace, forever remembered for her kindness, creativity, and the love she shared with all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Jackie's life during a visitation at Greene Funeral Service - West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Road Gastonia, on Monday, June 16, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will take place at the same location on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at 2:00 PM, officiated by Pastor Ronnie Dale where we will gather to honor the beautiful legacy Jackie leaves behind. The burial will be at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery.

Jackie is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, David "Keith" Calhoun; son, James Crossley (Christina Keever); brother, Duck Berryhill; sister, Kathy Bolynn; grandchildren, Hendrix Crossley, Layla Crossley, Sklyar Crossley, Abby Carroll; lifetime best friend, Debra Mills and husband Bill; beloved fur baby, Chloe.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, Sam Pasour and Ethel Berryhill; brother, Ronald Pasour; sisters, Sharon Privitte, Debra Pasour.
