Jack Augustus Wood

Jack Augustus Wood, age 82, of Kings Mountain, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2015 at the Kings Mountain Hospice House. He was born December 27, 1932 in Kings Mountain, NC. Mr. Wood was preceded in death by his parents, Geneva Wood, Beatrice Wood, and Rufus Wood; and his brothers and sisters, Clinton, Richard, Martha Sue, Hubert, Joyce, Billy Joe, James, Don, Nelline and Gene. Jack is survived by his daughters, Candy Wood of Lodi, CA; Kristena Bohannon and husband Johnny of Crossville, TN; sisters, Irene Bernstein of Kings Mountain, Darlene Bridges of Kings Mountain; granddaughter, Leilani Jones of Crossville, TN; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services will be private. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
