Jack Eugene Reynolds Jr.

Jack Eugene Reynolds Jr., 69, of Bessemer City, passed away April 25, 2023, at his home.

He was born July 27, 1953, in Gaston County, son of the late Jack Reynolds and Evelyn Blackwood Reynolds.

Jack was a very selfless man who loved helping and caring for everyone.

He would always go out of his way at a moment's notice to help them.

He enjoyed cutting grass, hanging out at Charlie's, and would occasionally sneak away to go fishing.

He was a NASCAR fan and never wanted to miss watching a race.

A celebration of life will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, April 29, 2023, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Road Gastonia officiated by Pastor Stephen Hoell.

The family will receive friends 1-2 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

Jack is survived by his children, Lindsay Renee Reynolds, Todd Stepp and Dawn, Jessica Stepp; grandchildren, Bailey Gantt, Regan Clark, Elijah Williams, Ezekiel Williams, Kevin Stepp, Katie Stepp; three great-grandchildren.

Siblings, Kathy Stamey and Mike, Jimmy Reynolds and Suzanne, Linda Elliott and Don, Dixie Smith and Eddie; sisters-in-law, Karen Watford and Eddie, Tracy Cobb and Fred, Terri Sanford and Tim; special aunts, Frances Dunaway, Brenda Ivey, Barbara Maney, Joyce Daye, Alice Neal; uncle, Junior Holloway and Tommie; numerous nieces and nephews; Beloved friends Mike and Carol Holliday.

In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his first wife, Faye Fortenberry Reynolds; second wife, Sandra Holloway Stepp Reynolds; son, Brett Reynolds; sister, Donna Reynolds Philbeck.
