Jack "Mad Jack" Lowe, Jr.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Jack "Mad Jack" Lowe Jr.'s passing on September 3, 2025, in Shelby, NC, at the age of 77.

Jack, a dedicated auto body mechanic, was known for his craftsmanship and passion for car repair. He enjoyed hunting, wildlife, and plants. He grew up making moonshine, and loved his grandchildren.

He was born on August 30, 1948, and lived life with a spirit that touched everyone around him.

Jack is survived by his loving daughter, Crystal Almond; his sons, Jackie Dewayne Lowe, and Robert Eugene Lowe; brother, Don Cole; sister, Bobbi "B.J." Jean Smith; and many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren all of whom will carry his memory in their hearts.

A celebration of Jack's life will take place in the near future, where family and friends will come together to honor him and share cherished stories.

Jack will be greatly missed by all who knew him. His warm smile, friendly demeanor, and love for life will remain with us forever.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Jack George Lowe, Sr. and Cynthia Mathews Lowe; and sister, Linda Cole.
