Jack Albert Falls

Gastonia, NC Jack Albert Falls passed away September 3, 2013 at Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte. He was born June 30, 1934 in Gastonia, son of the late Albert Floyd Falls and Agnes Dedmond Falls. He honorably served in the US Navy and US Air Force and was a member of American Legion Post 23, Gastonia. He retired from Homelite Textron and attended East Kings Mountain Church of God. Mr. Falls was a very loving, devoted, kind-spirited and compassionate son, brother and friend. He was an Atlanta Braves Fan and was an excellent golfer and, as many know, took his game very seriously. He is survived by: his brothers, James Ray Falls, William Farrell Falls, Robert Monroe Falls; his sisters, Mary Falls Lewis and Rebecca Falls Hudson; nieces and nephews; close friend, Margaret Watts and her children. A celebration of Jack's life will be held 3:00 pm on Saturday at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, officiated by Rev. John Heath and Rev. Joel Shirley. The family will receive friends 1:00 to 3:00 pm on Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home. The family will receive friends other times at the home of Donna Anderson and Bill Falls, 2412 W. 2nd. Ave., Gastonia, NC 28052. The interment will be held at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia, following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gaston County Honor Guard, c/o Joe Harris, 434 Jenny St., Gastonia, NC 28054. A guest registry is available at greenefuneral.com.
