J. C. Dowell, Jr., 73, of Gastonia, passed away April 17, 2015, at Robin Johnson House in Dallas. He was born February 17, 1942, in Gaston County, son of the late Mildred and J. C. Dowell, Sr. The family will receive friends 6-7pm on Wednesday at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 South York Rd., Gastonia, NC. Interment is private. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
