Israel Ruiz, 63, passed away August 24, 2022, at Robin Johnson House.

He was born January 19, 1959, to the late Cornelio Ruiz Echevarria and Aida Rosa Y Sanchez Ruiz, in Lakewood, NJ.

Israel was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from Mercado's Dumpster Service.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Caylipso Jeannette Ruiz, brother, Ismael Ruiz, brother in laws, Leo Lillo, Carlos Lillo, Julio Soto; and nephew, Valentino Romero.

Israel is survived by his loving wife, Magdalena Lillo Ruiz, sons; Israel Ruiz Jr. (Candy), Juan Ruiz (Peggy), Roberto Ruiz (Yazzii), Joseph Ruiz (Fernanda), daughter; Samantha Ruiz, brother, Francisco Ruiz, sisters; Maria Soto, Elsie Lopez, Margie Manning, and numerous grandchildren.

A funeral service officiated by Pastor Abner Ramos, will be held Saturday, August 27, 2022, at 3:00 PM at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service.

Visitation will be 1:00pm to 3:00pm at the funeral home.
