Irene Powell, 104, of Gastonia passed away Sunday, February 23, 2014 at her residence. She was born September 18, 1909 in New York, daughter of the late Zachariah and Florence "Floyd" Bunce. A memorial service will be held 4:30 pm Sunday, March 2, 2014 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, 2250 Davis Park Road, Gastonia. The family will receive friends from 4-4:30 pm prior to the service at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness. Interment will be private. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
