Hoyte Ernest Welch

Hoyte Ernest Welch, 85, of Kings Mountain passed away on March 12, 2013 at Alexandria Place, Gastonia. He was born June 18, 1927 in Lindsay, CA son of the late Elmer Welch and Tessie Robinson Welch. Mr. Welch was a Navy veteran. He was formerly employed with John Jenkins of Gastonia and Shelby Asphalt. The family will receive friends starting at 3:00 pm on Sunday at Long Creek Presbyterian Church, Kings Mountain in the fellowship hall. The service will be private. Mr. Welch is survived by: his loving wife of over 20 years , Patsy Penner Welch of the home; sons, Randy Welch of Oklahoma City, Danny Welch of Tennessee; daughters Mary Louise Welch of Idaho, Sherry Enwright of Oklahoma City; step- sons, James Norman of Mississippi, Jerry Norman of Caser, NC Kenneth Norman of Hampstead, NC; brother, Albert Welch of Washington; four grandchildren, six great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by : sister, Gladys Rawlings of Lindsay, CA.
