Howard Waters

Howard Waters, 72, of Gastonia, passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

Born on July 4, 1949, in Mecklenburg County, Howard was the son of the late Billy and Ruth Bynum Waters.

Howard was a member of Charity Independent Baptist Church. He was also a veteran of the US Army and served proudly in the Vietnam War.

In addition to his parents, Howard was preceded in death by his son, Joe Flouton.

Left to cherish Mr. Waters memories are Kay Flouton; son, Roger Flouton; sister, Becky Waters; granddaughter, Kayleigh Flouton and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Ronnie Pressley, will be held at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at Charity Independent Baptist Church – 2425 Hillmont Street, Gastonia, NC, 28052.

The family will receive friends an hour to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Charity Independent Baptist Church – 2425 Hillmont Street, Gastonia, NC 28052.
