Howard Eugene Gunter

Howard Eugene Gunter, 66, of Dallas, passed away July 29, 2017 at his residence.

A Gaston county native, he was born June 3, 1951, son of the late Connie Lee Gunter and Margorie Kale Hensley.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Gunter.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Pamela Gunter; daughters, Dawn Simmons, Brandy Gunter, Mandy Carswell and husband Austin; brother, Ronnie Gunter; sisters, Mary Haskett, Shelia Davis, Linda Kirkland; Barbara Ann Gunter, and six grandchildren.

A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Chris Doster, will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Maranatha Baptist Church, 104 Downey Lake Rd., Dallas.

The family will receive friends at the church two hours prior to the service.

Interment will be in Westview Gardens.
