Howard M. Crisp

Gastonia, NC Howard M. Crisp, 78, passed away April 8, 2013. He was born September 26, 1934 in Gaston County, son of the late F.G. and Eunice Smith Crisp. He is survived by: his wife, Linda Crisp; sons and daughter in-law, Roger and Sherry Crisp, Todd Jones; daughters and sons in-law, Elaine and Scott Patterson, Kelly Phillips, Debra Simpson, Sharon and Darrell Beam; brother, Charles Crisp; sisters, Betty Shook, Peggy Caldwell; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by: a son, Jimmy Crisp; 3 brothers and 2 sisters. A funeral service will be held 1pm on Thursday at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City. The family wishes to express a special thanks to Frank Braxten and Mike Sperry, for their help during Howard's illness.
