Herman Queen, Sr.

Herman Queen, Sr, 89, of Kings Mtn, passed away, Friday, April 27, 2018 at his residence.

Herman was born March 9, 1929, in Cherokee County, SC, son of the late Robert Melton Queen and Myrtle Mack.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, April 30, 2018 at 8th St. Church of God, 906 S. 8th St, Bessemer City, officiated by Pastor Ronnie Pendleton.   Visitation will be held one hour before the funeral service at the church.

Left to cherish his memories are his sons, Herman Queen, Jr. and Darrell Queen; daughters, Phyllis Darby and husband Hoyt, Teresa Whetstine and husband Ray; 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Interment will in Mt. Rest Cemetery, Kings Mtn.
