Herldon Spencer

Herldon 'Lynn' Spencer, 64 of Mount Holly NC, passed away at 4:00 am Sunday Sept. 6th, 2020 at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia N.C.

Born on Dec. 8th, 1955, he was the son of Linvial Spencer and Sarah Smith Jenkins.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Tammy; 2 sons, Jason Law of Mayo, Florida and Kyle Spencer of Mount Holly N.C.; 3 daughters, Ashley and Meagan Spencer of Mount Holly NC and Kasha Burns of Cincinnati, Ohio; 1 brother, Mark Spencer; 6 sisters, Glenda Smith, Eloise Watson, Avonna Muterspaw, Nina Jones, Kim Spencer and Apryl Spencer; 5 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Lynn was a 3rd generation carpenter and a proud Army Veteran. He never met a stranger and had a contagious smile. He spent his time loving his family and friends, cooking, reading his bible and playing gospel bluegrass on his guitar and mandolin.

Celebration of life will be held on a date forthcoming.
