Herbert "Herb" Summers, 86, of Gastonia, passed away April 17, 2017 at Caromont Regional Medical Center.
He was born March 29, 1931 in Fayette County, WV, the son of the late Charles Summers and Edith Batton Summers.
A graveside service will be held 11 am Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Olney Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 251 Olney Church Rd., Gastonia.
Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
