Herbert Harold Meek

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Herbert Harold Meek, a beloved figure in our community, who left us on June 9, 2026. Born on July 18, 1936, in Gaston County, North Carolina, Herbert lived a full life, notably known for his skills as an upholsterer in the furniture industry.

Herbert's journey through life took him from his early days in NC to making a warm home in Gastonia, where he became a treasured friend and neighbor. His down-to-earth nature and genuine kindness left a lasting impact on those around him.

Herbert was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Effie Meek.
