Henry "Ronnie" Ronald Willis

Henry "Ronnie" Ronald Willis, 76, of Gastonia, NC, passed Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at the Robin Johnson House, Dallas.

He was born September 29, 1945, in Gaston Co, NC, son of the late Henry Elhanon Willis and Ruby Ida Grady.

Ronnie was a member of the Gaston County Radio Society – AI4LH. He was a Vietnam Veteran, serving in the Marine Corp and the Army National Guard, where he received his retirement of 28 years of service. He also retired from Napa Auto Parts after 10 plus years of service.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn; brother, Jimmy Willis; and sisters, Joyce Baker, Lora Lee Caldwell, and Elaine McCoy.

Ronnie is survived by his daughters, Adina Willis, Kristina Orrell, and Tabitha Willis; brother, Roger Willis; sisters, Helen Rhodes, and Judy Ballard; and grandchildren, Tyler Webb, Zach Willis, BJ Orrell, Brianna Orrell, Anthony Collins, Addison Collins.

A funeral service officiated by Apostle Que 'Tonnia Barnett, will be held 2pm on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
