Henry Helms

Gastonia, NC Henry Helms, age 70, passed away September 18, 2013, at Caromont Regional Med. Ctr., Gastonia. He was born November 9, 1942 in Gaston County, son of the late Haywood Henry Helms and Elizabeth Helms. Mr. Helms was a member of Catawba Free Will Baptist Church, Mt. Holly. Services will be private at a later date. He is survived by: wife, Barbara Helms of the home; daughter, Kim Rodriguez of Gastonia; sisters, Barbara Miller, Kathy Helms; grandchildren, Christopher Rodriguez, Brittany Almond and spouse, Jeremy; niece, Heather Teague and spouse, Mike and their three children; other numerous nieces and nephews; special friends, CNA, Elizabeth Christopher, Carla Herms. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by: sister, Elaine Helms Chapman; brother, Jerry Helms. Memorials may be made to Catawba Free Will Baptist Church,301 Cherry St., Mt.
