Helen Moore Stroupe

Helen Moore Stroupe, 73, of Gastonia, passed away June 10, 2015 at Duke University Hospital. She was born August 15, 1941 in Cherokee County, daughter of the late Arnold and Nora Marie Moore. Helen is survived by her husband of 33 years, Marshall "Buddy" Stroupe; one son, one sister, four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son, two brothers and one sister. A funeral service will be held 3 pm Saturday at Greene Funeral Service - South Chapel - 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Larry McCalister and Darrell C. Current, DDS. Visitation will be 1 - 2:45 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Gaston Memorial Park.
