Helen Parker

Helen Parker, 83, of York, S.C. passed away May 1, 2014 at Carolina's Medical Center. She was born November 4, 1930 in Gaston County. Helen is survived by: her sons, Mike and Gary Parker of Clover, S.C.; daughters, Pam Sigmon, and Teresa Matherly of York, S.C.; Brenda Chapman of Stanley N.C.; sisters, Pat Alexander, Peggy Hodge both of Gastonia, N.C.; nine grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, one great- great grandchild. A funeral service will be held at 4 pm Sunday at Southside Baptist Church, 530 Bethany Rd, Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Tim Robbins. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Saturday at Greene Funeral Service South Chapel. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
