Helen Cook

1929 - 2014 Helen Cook, 85, of Belmont, passed away November 25, 2014 at Cardinal Health, Lincolnton. She is survived by her daughter, Jeanette Horney of Gastonia and grandson, Tony Sawyer and wife, JoAnne of Maiden. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Cook and grandson, Mark Thompson. A service of remembrance will be held 1:00 pm Friday at Friendship Baptist Church, 5008 S. New Hope Rd., Belmont, officiated by the Rev. Gerry Davis, Sr. Visitation will be 12:00 - 12:45 pm prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Gaston Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Friendship Baptist Church, 5008 S. New Hope Rd., Belmont, NC 28012. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
