Helen Beaty

Helen Beaty, 92, passed away August 6, 2017 at Belaire Healthcare Center in Gastonia.

She was born September 15, 1924, a native of Gaston County, the daughter of the late Jess Leathco and Hattie Brymer Leathco.

Left to cherish her memories are her son, Norman Beaty and wife, Gwen; daughters, Kay Harris and husband Charles and Patty Coley; grandchildren, Tiffany and Jason Beaty, Marla Bowman, Stacey Pearson, Kim Woolard, Scott Goins and many great-grandchildren.

A funeral service, officiated by the Rev. Jerry Wood will be held 12 noon on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Sandy Plains Baptist Church Cemetery.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
