Heather Lackey

Heather Danielle Lackey, 33, of Stanley, passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021, at Novant Health in Huntersville.

Born on September 30, 1988, in Mecklenburg County, she was the daughter of Terry Dean and Kimberly Manning Lackey.

Heather's greatest joy was being a mother. She loved singing and all kinds of music.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Billy and Frances Lackey and William Manning.

Left to cherish Heather's memories are her parents, Terry and Kimberly Lackey; son, Cullin Dean Kinchen; daughter, Kinzley Madison Lackey; brothers, Corey Dean Lackey and Nicholas Lee Steen; and grandmother, JoAnne Manning.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S York Rd, Gastonia, NC 28052.

The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Trust Fund for her children c/o Kimberly Lackey – 1195 S. NC Hwy 16 Business, Stanley, NC 28164.
