Heather Michelle Kirkman, 41, of Stanley, NC, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at her residence.

She was born May 6, 1983, in Mecklenburg Co, NC.

Heather loved to joke and laugh. She always made everyone feel welcome and warm. She enjoyed art, and being around the people that she loved, she also loved going fishing with her father. Heather was a great hugger, and the sweetest person that you could ever meet.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Erin Kirkman.

Heather is survived by her father, Mike Kirkman (Gail Smith), mother, Marsha Wright Kirkman; son, Michael Allan Smith; brothers, Todd Parker, and Scott Parker; sisters, Jennifer Smith, and Kelly Parker; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service officiated by Pastor Dickie Spargo, will be held 3:00pm, Saturday, December 14, 2024, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service - 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
