Hayley Mae Benson

Hayley Mae Benson, 23, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Sunday, August 27, 2023, at her residence.

She was born November 29, 1999, in Union County to Heather Snyder.

Hayley was an artist. She enjoyed drawing anime pictures. She loved to collect squishmellows. She was a social butterfly and loved spending time with her friends. Hayley lit up every room she walked into; she was determined to be everyone's friend. She was vibrant, bubbly, compassionate, intelligent, she was true to herself no matter what anyone thought. She loved so hard and so big. If she loved you, you knew it. There are no words to describe how much she will be missed.

Hayley is survived by her parents, Heather & Charles Snyder; adopted Dad, Joshua Benson; adopted Mom, Kathryn Helms; grandparents, Barbara & Donnie Witmore, Barbara & Ken Benson; brothers, Sean Benson, Dakota Benson, Dylan Benson, Kasey Snyder, Justin Helms; sisters, best friend Lyndsey Mills, Katie Snyder, Courtney Snyder, Alexis Helms.

A Celebration of Life officiated by Nick Benson will be held Saturday, September 2, 2023, 6pm, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd. Gastonia, NC 28054.
