Harry William Belk

Harry William Belk, 77, of Clover, passed away Monday, October 10, 2016 at his home.

He was born September 13, 1939, son of the late Emory and Estelle Belk.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Curtis Belk; sister, Doris Inez Biddix; brother, John Belk.

Left to cherish his memories are his sons, David Belk and wife Sheila, Gregory Belk; daughter, Cathy Belk; brothers, Percy Ray Belk, Billy Belk; sisters, Louise Carpenter, Elizabeth Belk, Bonnie Sue Patterson; grandchildren, Jason Belk and wife Stacey, Brandon Huffman, Sarah Belk, Rebecca Belk, Amber Miner, Sabrina Miner, Bethany Lazenby, Haley Martin; great grandchild, Joseph Belk; special friend, Donna Carter.

A funeral service, officiated by Rev. Johnny Gantt and Brother Scott Taylor, will be held 11 a.m. Friday, October 14, at Greene Funeral Service 1503 S. York Road, Gastonia.

The family will receive friends Thursday 6-9 pm at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Olney Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
