Harold Williams

Harold "Red" Williams, 65, passed away Friday, March 14, 2014 at his residence. A Gaston County native, he was born June 6, 1948, son of the late Johnny Lewis Williams and Helen Conner Williams. Mr. Williams dearly loved his family and is survived by his wife, Sybil Bell Williams; son and daughter-in-law, Harold Williams Jr. and Tami; daughters and sons-in-law, Angela and James Taylor, Helen Alexander, Samantha and Keith Wade; brothers, George and Aldi Williams; sisters, Diane Cobb and Debra Kay Brady; grandchildren, Allen, Krystin, David, Amber, Jacob, Storm, Jessica, and Sara; great-grandchildren, Mark, Ryan, and Andrew. A funeral service, officiated by Rev. Shannon Williams, will be held 2 pm Monday, March 17 at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Gaston Hospice, P.O. Box 3984, Gastonia, NC 28054. Interment will be at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
