Harold L. Teague

Harold L. Teague, 87, of Gastonia, passed away April 27, 2016 at his residence.  He was born February 26, 1929 in New Market, TN, the son of the late Horace Loyde Teague and Lillie Layman Teague.

Harold was a veteran of the US Army who served during the Korean War.  He retired from Pharr-Yarns in McAdenville.  Harold was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He was a master woodcarver who made beautiful walking sticks.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who will be missed dearly.

Left to cherish his memories are his son John L. Teague and wife Anita of Alexis; grandchildren, Marinda Wilkinson and husband Tyler of Stanley and Matthew and Mara Teague of Alexis; great-grandchildren Isabella Grace Teague Wilbanks, Porter Jeffrey Wilkinson and Harrison Wallace and brother William Earl Teague and wife Geraldine of Goose Creek, SC.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Pauline "Polly" Teague.
